Power Bowl: Oatmeal With Blueberries
This action-packed oatmeal with blueberries is one of the best ways to start your day. Add flavor and a great variety of essential nutrients by topping it up with berries, bananas, and flaxseeds.
- 1/2 cup whole oats
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- Handful frozen blueberries
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut
Oatmeal is the most common breakfast among people living a Whole Food Plant Based lifestyle. It’s so basic, but so nutritious. Oatmeal contains a great nutritional profile including fiber, protein and a range of vitamins and minerals. Top your oatmeal up with berries, bananas, flax seeds and coconuts to make it an even more (ful)filling bowl!

Step by Step Instructions
Mix oats, berries and boiling water into a small pot and cook on low fire.
Stir well every minute or so and add some water if the mixture gets too dry.
Once done (approx 5 mins), pour into a bowl and add the sliced banana, ground flaxseeds and shredded coconut
